It is widely accepted that music and arts education positively impacts both academic and social-emotional learning. It is also something that all kids can partake in, regardless of learning or language challenges. 

This is why we have invested heavily in San Bruno’s Music Education Strategic Initiative, which aligns our elementary, middle and high school music education programs toward providing equitable access to a continuum of high-quality music opportunities. SBEF supports SBPSD to provide music education to all students in grades TK to 8, as well as the ability to have both Beginner and Advanced music classes at Parkside. 

SBEF also supports art classes and afterschool drama opportunities.
