Here’s the programs for San Bruno students the SBEF currently funds:
- Music education for students, from transitional kindergarten/kindergarten to 8th grade
- Science fairs at elementary schools and Parkside Intermediate
- Professional development for teachers in the latest STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math), project-based learning, and SEAL (Sobrato Early Academic Language) teaching methods
- Coding clubs for 3rd – 5th graders
- Parent education workshops and academic enrichment opportunities for students who qualify for GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) programs
- Supplemental school site and district support, including funding foreign language program licenses at Parkside, a “Cash for Class” teacher recognition event, and more
