Have you filled out the 2020 Census yet?
The Census determines congressional representation, informs hundreds of billions in federal funding every year and provides data that impacts communities for the next decade.
The Census count is also very important for our schools and children. Census data directly impacts federal funds that communities receive each year for programs and services that are critical for schools, students and younger children, including:
- Special education, Head Start, afterschool programs and classroom technology
- Food assistance, including free and reduced-price school lunches
- Maternal and child health programs
