Meet Our Board: Heather Latta

Please join us in welcoming Heather Latta to the SBEF Board of Directors!

Heather served as a key volunteer for various SBEF initiatives last year, and we were excited for her to join our Board this September.

With a second grader at Allen and a preschooler, Heather was looking for ways to get more involved with the local community and saw volunteering for our schools and SBEF as a way to give back.

“I am passionate about public education, and I want to help support equitable and engaging programming for our community’s students,” Heather says.

Heather is currently leading SBEF’s STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) Task Force to drive forward new innovative science initiatives in the San Bruno Park School District.

Heather works for the federal government, helping to provide research to Congress and recommendations to federal agencies to improve the effectiveness of international affairs and trade programs.
