Parkside Intermediate’s new mural has been unveiled this spring!
The beautiful student-painted mural, which celebrates school unity and community, was funded by a generous $15,000 grant from the San Bruno Community Foundation, as well as additional funds from SBEF.
Working with Parkside art teacher Lily de la Pena and San Mateo County muralist Ellen Silva, 25 budding artists at Parkside were able to experience the process of designing and painting the mural, which greets students and visitors as they enter campus.
SBEF would also like to thank Parkside principal, Dr. Monica Nagy, and San Mateo County Arts Commissioner and San Bruno resident, Stephen Seymour, for their support of this project.
