Study Highlights Challenges of Distance Learning for Our Most Vulnerable Students

According to a study by nonprofit ParentsTogether Action, children from low-income homes are three times more likely not to have consistent access to a device to access remote learning.

To help close this digital divide in San Bruno, the San Bruno Education Foundation partnered with community groups, government agencies and businesses in the spring to raise nearly $350,000 to provide all San Bruno students with technology and internet access for distance learning, as well new technology and training for our teachers.
